Dr. Scott Hester

Saved in the summer of 1976 in Southwestern Michigan, and surrendering to the call of God to preach on January 24, 1985, Pastor Hester has been used of God for 29 yrs in many areas of the ministry. Working virtually in every area of the ministry during the early years and later as a full time evangelist, Pastor Hester brings years of experience and wisdom to the work of the Lord. As Pastor of Key West Baptist Temple, America's southern most Independent Baptist Church, the Lord is using he and the Church to reach the Islands of the Florida keys and the Caribbean Region. Their outreach to the Caribbean, Operation: R.O.C. (Reaching Our Caribbean), assist's missionary pastors by getting into their hands materials they need to help their people. The Church's radio program, Higher Ground, broadcast's two times weekly from the Island of Antigua to a potential listening audience of 1.5 million. Key West Baptist Temple has a unique local church setting, located 90 miles from Cuba and 135 miles from Miami, on a tiny island in the Straits of Florida. The population of American, Haitian, Cuban, Jamaican, and other Caribbean Islands makes their church a melting pot of nationalities reaching many with the gospel.
